Toronto's skyline has so many gaps, and now the real estate market for tall towers is cooling.

Things might look like this for a while yet.

You're forgetting what's currently U/C... there's lots of tall towers yet to join the skyline... that are holes in the ground right now...

True enough, but the last big start Teahouse (175 m) will only be visible in the middle picture..The other 2121 (191 meters) is at Eglinton.

Holes in the ground? Casa 3 - 186, WOP - 194, Massey - 208, Y/C -198, O/Y - 188.

I think that's it ...am I missing any others..?

Just six towers plus Yonge Richmond, won't make a real change or dent in the skyline.

I was talking about all towers in the whole city, not just about which ones would appear in certain pix... sorry, I should have been more clear.

These are the towers you missed, all over 150 metres...

Eau Du Soleil - 228 metres and 181 metres: near ground level
1 Yorkville - 183 metres: hole in the ground
The Selby - 166 metres: hole in the ground
488 University - 207 metres: the tower is still 90 metres tall, for decades now, no height has been added yet
Yonge & Rich - 156 metres: not even a hole yet
87 Peter St. - 154 metres: up to the 5th floor I think
King Blue - 156 metres and 140 metres: hole in the ground
Daniels Waterfront - 158 metres and 128 metres: up to ground level now
Monde - 150 metres: hole in the ground
10 York - 224 metres: still less than 1/4 of its final height
E Condos - 194 metres and 122 metres: up to the 3rd floor I think

People keep saying how much of a monster Toronto is, well there really are 28 towers over 150 metres U/C now...

This post made me laugh (thanks Cal).

Lists numerous 200m (or close to) towers that are u/c and then says they wont make dent in the skyline.

Imagine making this statement 15 years ago.

Some of the tall buildings U/C will merge into nearby tall buildings in the skyline silloette.

I totally agree. I've always hated that green building in front of BC Place. WTF is up with that blue part that looks like a tarp? Those new buildings going up next to Rogers Arena arena are an embarrassment too.

Then, to the right of that, you have the massive undeveloped Concord Pacific land. That will be developed soon, but I'm expecting seafoam-spandrel tower-in-the-park style development there. I hope I'm wrong.

Vancouver definitely has better angles.

I don't know which era that casino is from, but its days are numbered and the new casino behind it is turning out to be a real gem. So there are lots of interesting things happening in this area and the future Plaza of Nations develop will change the view completely.
