I doubt much will happen in this area for a long time. I hope nothing else tall gets built because, as I said, this singular pinnacle is a unique case.

Downtown South in Vancouver started the same way.
For the first tower, it's a good looking tower.

Sure, and I know what you are saying, but even Downtown South has taken that 20 years to build out and even today it's still not completed. And this is Delta we are talking about. I would not be expecting any significant build-out even in 20 years.

This boom cycle is also coming to an end and it will be much calmer market for new proposals in next couple of years, I predict.

Either way it's great to see some of the most suburban areas of the metro planning for increased density.

True enough but for many the desperation to find living space seems to be at an all time high in Vancouver and all surrounding municipalities.

The area is becoming quite urban, lots of multi-family and a very high concentration and selection of commercial/retail/services. Seems very ripe for towers to me. When I think most surburban areas of the Metro Vancouver I think Brookswood in Langley, Cloverdale, Maple Ridge.

Decent tower. It's crazy how much it sticks out from all angles.

What are the plans for 71st & 120st?

The Rise crane is gone; this build must be nearing completion. I read somewhere that occupancy is in March.
Now that Cheers bar has been demolished, are they going to build two more towers at 70th & 120th?

How's the transit to this tower? I know there's a bus that goes down to Scott Rd., but I have no idea how frequent it is.

The 319 down Scott Road is part of the Frequent Transit Network, so at least every 15 minutes every day.

Weekdays you're looking at 7-8 minute frequencies, Saturdays at 10 minutes, and Sundays / Holidays at 15 minutes.
