^LED lighting needs to be done very lightly and cautiously in most cases or it is simply tacky.

I will certainly miss the gold, but totally understand it's not feasible to retain it.

The treatment though, appears to be different - whichever panel is chosen.

Is it just me or should the whole LED fad be tossed? I've lost count of the number of buildings in Vancouver that had LED features which either refused to work or were never maintained and eventually shelved.

Better than I thought. A much more visible contrast between the photoshop pic of the new glass compared to the Jacobs Engineering building - with its precast in the background. With the gold glazing it all kind of blended in - and here the new glazing stands out. I am guessing that is what Morguard is trying to achieve. It does look cleaner, more streamlined and will stand out as least to the concrete exposed buildings adjacent.

I'm guessing a lot of people left town??
I'll estimate 892,000 people.

In-migration has slowed but we're far off from losing population. The region is still growing at roughly 15-18000 ppl/year if I am not mistaken.
