Nice pics fellas. I bet the skyline looks much closer in person than it does in those pics.

Looks like they are ready for the Christmas tree for the topping off ceremony. Don't tell Arch+Eng.

They'll add a statue of Ben Franklin to the top.
That way, he can look down towards William Penn.

But seriously, it's good to see this building finally topped out.

Biked past this today and noticed that they're starting to frame the lower (north) crown.

Or he can look up at the 6'' William Penn on top of Comcast Center
I wonder if they'll add a William Penn on top of CITC

Sorry for the crappy pic but wanted to get a shot of the steel framing going up for the crown/slope on the sky terrace on top of the office portion and at the start of the residential portion.

Surprised that they waited this long to add the slope steel.

I was beginning to think they wouldn't add it at all.

I did for a while. But Knight Hospitaller mentioned that he saw them dropping some materials and maybe some construction equip. on the roof. I was going to look back to the pages that he said this. It had to be a couple of dozen pages ago. So, it's been a while.
What's amazing is: One day you don't see anything constructed, then the next day you come back to view it, the whole floor or pieces of the façade is finished! These guys don't mess around!
I give them all credit for working so fast and furious!

That's what happens when they have all of the resources to complete the task!

Found these - drone videos on YouTube, some great shots of FMC, Evo, One Riverside, CHOP, and University City.

1) Michael Whiter, 'Drone vs. Construction Zone at Top of Skyscraper in Philadelphia' posted on 8/17/2016 - thanks man!

• Video Link

2) Martin Haase, 'Philly from Above' posted on 7/31/2016 - fun ride...

Cool little film.
There was a moment when I thought it was Chicago from a distance, only to discover how cool Philadelphia is shaping up!
