It does deserve a wow. I drive past there almost everyday and cant help but look at what is going on. I also regularly walk around the site to see what has changed since I last visited. It is a game changer for the region and something that was sorely needed for this sector of the city. It is a welcome site seeing all of these towers changing the face of the region.

Mcminsen, you are a photo taking machine! Thankyou for your contributions. Feels like things are really starting to happen on this project (at least visually).

Hopefully the new retails can start moving in much earlier before the residential towers are completed

Brentwood is looking like a behemoth with that Metrotown skyline in the background.

According to the development's website it will be ready sometime in the fall of 2018. A few years away, but I am interested to know what retail and food options will be in the area.

Thanks again for the pics! I live close to the area so I routinely walk to Brentwood to for coffee. Afterwards, I tour the site to see the slow, but steady progress that is being made.

Aside from proximity to work, this massive project was the reason why I wanted to purchase in Brentwood. I think the word amazing is too often used and has lost its evocative power, but, in this case, the word does indeed suit the development.

Here are a few more taken from the Skytrain platform. The glass around the platform is very dirty so usually these pics don't work too well unless there is really bright daylight. I'm wondering if they are ever going to clean the glass. Maybe they are putting if off until the construction is finished but that will be a long time. And the dirtier the glass gets the more dirt will stick to it.

That made me think of Thunderbird Park in Victoria. That seems more varied, more "styled," and more iinteresting. Or something truly old and authentic, maybe yet to be found in Haida Gwaai'

I would like to see something which reflects cultural diversity rather than only indigenous , because this is a regional Center . How about a collection of flags as well?
