Was driving back from Red Deer yesterday and you could definitely see that Brookfield Place was the tallest. It actually looked more slender than I expected from that angle too. The weird thing I can't figure out is why from the south it appears almost dead even with the Bow.

I'm guessing because they are almost at the crown section, and there are probably reasons why they are slowing due to that.

Brookfield Place Almost Fully Glazed

Quote:
Brookfield Place, with its 247-metre frame, commands attention. It has surpassed the Foster and Partners-designed Bow to become the tallest building in Canada outside Toronto. Designed by Arney Fender Katsalidis and Dialog Architects, the 56-storey tower between 1st & 2nd Streets and 6th & 7th Avenues SW now anchors the downtown core.

It's funny Arney Fender Katsalidis doesn't have Brookfield Place anywhere on their website.
