This is the best shot form the mountain I have seen. I actually like it. Maybe because it's more panoramic and less focused on the main cluster of the DT.

I concur with the MTL pano. I'm usually so sick of that angle, but wow, it looks great. The new additions to that cluster really beef up the skyline.

Montreal circa 2004. This was not a beauty back then, how things can change!

[Incidentally, any claim that Kingston is one of the world's best beach towns ought to be regarded with great skepticism.]

Do you have one of this view as it is today? would be neat to compare...

The Deloitte tower would probably be the most impactful addition from that angle. Also, the Tour des Canadiens on the far left.

It is no longer a good spot to take picture of the the full skyline since the Griffintown towers are now in the way.

Yes all of the new additions around the bell centre have a huge impact from this angle. Also, as vanatox has said the new griffintown condos built right by the peel basin partially obscure some of these towers depending on your exacr location. The new condos help bring depth and a sense of scale to the whole area.

I tried looking for a contemporary shot but i couldnt. Im sure there are plenty out there though.
