I love it! So many more changes to come, including Icone phase 2 which will mostly block out the hideous Sheraton.

The Concordia VA building needs to go. Concordia needs student housing like mad, what are they waiting for to tear down that turd?

Is that shorter building with the dome / spire on top Le Crystal? I've always like that building. I also like the Bell tower.

Love the variety in that TO shot though that new building on the right with the random white segments reminds me of a lump of poo.

C'mon. Picasso ain't that bad. Deconstructionism just isn't your thing. The lumps of poo are the twins with the colour glass accents beside Shangri-la.

What happening to the warehouse on John?

I actually like deconstructionism. Picasso just happens to have the massing of a turd. Agreed about those other two by Shangri-la.

indeed. the VA bldg used to be a parking garage, and it shows when you go inside. It needs to join the Drummond Court building in whatever hell that fugly buildings go when they are destroyed.

It's the concrete slab next to the cibc tower.

Amazing! Looks like Sim City! What's that semi-circular building that seems to be under construction beside the CN tower?

Edit: With that semi circle the CN tower now appears to have a full pair of testicles. LOL!

Thats the "Roundhouse", an old rotating train maintenance yard, a heritage structure (occupied by a brewery and furniture store). They're building a power transmission station underground beside it. They're building a mini railway museum above that. There's lots of stuff for railway history buffs in the park next to it.
