I didn't have a chance to take a picture but heading east on 290 I was very suprised to see a caisson rig at 411 S. Peoria. I feel like that project was just announced yesterday

That was for the expressway work - the lot is still - a lot (but improved sometime in the past 30yrs).

Slip form detail - after the new piece of wall cures, another set of brackets are mounted on it, the rails run up 1 flr, the forms will follow next.

With River North getting so hot, Asbury Plaza's garage, long an eyesore, must be getting eyed by developers.

Is there any hope that it might get redeveloped in the next 10 years? One advantage: unlike Holy Name it's privately owned, and unlike the Rock n Roll McD's it's not owned by a global Fortune 500 behemoth.
