I didn't realize the design changed. There floors in O4W is now incredibly underwhelming. At least there's some retail...

I wouldn't bank on the accuracy of renderings ever.

You could easily swap out "Coffee" with "Leasing Office".

Hope that top rendering is inaccurate...awful design. I'd expect something like that out of a suburban senior apartment complex.

Thank you! I've only taken MARTA, Uber, or driven myself to the airport, never taxi'd! I had no idea.

As for the O4W development, maybe someone can go take a peek at what's going on, clarify with a construction worker, and post photo updates.

I think it's the bottom rendering.

They're on opposite sides of the street, right?

Which is the very point of the discussion. The rest of Midtown is "moving ahead" without Dewberry.

I think the point others are making is that Dewberry doesn't want to be the one to compromise his developments in order to just get something out of the ground. Atlanta's known for having merchant developers who are too quick to build before actually thinking about what's best for the area (many have to secure external financing partners who then require the designers and contractors to value engineer the project to death and then sell the project to someone else often before it's even open).

Seems Dewberry would rather want his developments to be responding to the market's growth by providing better quality design and developments for the neighborhood.

This kind of investment requires much more calculation and strategy to get it done right. Jamestown could have copped out on PCM, but instead they focused so much of their energy into that place that they're no longer focusing on development projects; they saw the value in one of the largest adaptive reuse projects in the Southeast that required much more up-front investments knowing it won't pay out quickly in the short-term.

The retail along Peachtree between 10th and 14th (even through Colony Square up to 17th) still struggles not far from here - and for good reason it seems Daniel Corp. is still holding out on some retail/restaurant opportunities along this route as well- the critical mass still isn't quite there yet. But it's coming and when the time is right there will be a significant project on this site. Until then I'd like to see him open up those lots to more creative uses - like a Food Truck park right in the middle of Midtown rather than off the I-75 on-ramp at Howell Mill.

350 years of being detained isn't enough for you? Imagery is powerful and that picture is not cool, neither is your comment. Please be respectful. I promise to do the same.

Yeah I didn't like that comment either even if they were trying to be witty or sarcastic. Seemed unnecessary and out of place.

Oh my god calm down. It was not disrespectful in any way shape or form, but in reference to the 350 years of being detained.

There is no need to be so sensitive...I'll have to just assume you guys didn't understand my intent. It was meant as satire regarding the way our race is marginalized by society. I apologize if I offended anyone else.

Hanover West Peachtree finally has some wood framing going up! The foundation still isn't done on the other side of the site, though. What a strange project that has been. At this rate it probably won't open until sometime in 2018.

That should be one rock-solid foundation. The construction almost looks like 2 different buildings. Weird.

The time lapse on the construction cam here helps with understanding the construction process at this site.

Has anyone heard any updates on the mid-rise projected planned for Juniper St. between 4th and 5th? I haven't heard much about this one in a while.
