In Regina for the night.

New Stadium looks amazing. Tucked away in a cool neighbourhood as well. At least as far as I can tell.

My initial reaction was that it seems much more robust and yet also more elegant in comparison to IGF. I loves me some cast in place concrete.

One thing that would be nice is if they could project ads onto the turf for TV. Probably not going to happen but printing on the actual turf really does ruin the look.

7500 seats for a city of 27K. That currently draw 1200 fans a night for the bobcats

I have no doubt Lloydminster could support a WHL team, but 7,500 seems absurdly large for a town of that size. Maybe 4,500.

^ The Agridome is arguably undersized for a city of Regina's size. If you guys were building a rink today, I'm sure it would have at least 8,000 seats, possibly 10K.

I dont think lloyd can support a WHL team at all. They are 1/4th the size of fort mac. It's a big town really. Pretty sure it would be the smallest WHL city by a massive margin. It would be like putting an NHL team in red deer. This is senseless of frog lake, A very uneducated decision. 3000 seats is More than enough for a city Loydd's size (too many). They should build a 2500 seat arena with enough room and structural ability to build a second deck in the future if needed which is what cold lake did. 1800 seats expandable to 2500 in 1 phase and 4000 in a second phase.

I agree. Im sure Saskatoon could kill off 5000 seats without hurting anyone's feelings

Swift Current is about 15,000
Moose Jaw is about 35,000

I'm not sure where Moose Jaw at 60,000 came from. It's never been close to that.

Lloydminster is about 27,000. It's not unheard of for a city that size to support a team, but it's not a great population base.
