The worst days in Ottawa are on par with the worst days I've had in places like Kuala Lumpur and Singapore right near the equator. The humidity is nasty in Ottawa. Luckily we only get a few truly nasty days every summer.

As someone from the East Coast being in Ottawa in July and August is torture.

Summers in Ottawa are AWFUL. Some of the worst heat I have ever experienced in my life and I've been to many hot places.

I pray for fall every year.

Well, If I were living in Zibi or LeBreton, I would likely take the OLD Booth Street Bridge - the historic one that is being left for pedestrians and cyclists UNDER the NEW, vehicle-filled, Booth Street Bridge.

Go just outside the city and temperatures in the -30s are not uncommon in the winter, I believe some of them have had near -40C in recent years. But that doesn't really affect the LRT line since it doesn't go into rural areas.

That last line explains partly why it can feel like a nightmare. Ottawa residents are not acclimated to tropical heat and humidity. It's the same issue in, say, most of Europe. Those in places like South/East Asia and the southern US are much more acclimated as they get it much more frequently and for longer duration.

Define "everyone".

If the heat-lovers love their heat, fine - they can wait for their train or bus in a part of the station that is open to the brutal summer sun.

That does not mean that we should designing stations that provide NO relief from it. But evidently that's what they are doing with their stupid glass ceilings.

I have been more comfortable in the Yucatan than I have been in swamp-ass summer Ottawa.

There has to be some kind of connection to that entrance on the South side too
What about Wellington though, why does it end at Booth abruptly. Should it be there at all?

Temperatures below -30C are extraordinarily uncommon (as in, most winters go by without it happening once) pretty much anywhere in the Quebec City-Windsor corridors.

Windchills in the -30s are pretty common, but windchill is fake, an illusion, and as such has no effect on LRT.

Its hard to tell, but seems like that specific area is uncovered based on the render. The covered portion on the side closest to the aqueduct only appears to begin where the Pimisi station's roof ends.

The RV plan puts a new road, Canada Drive, on top of the LRT line (though Canada Drive does diverge from the LRT alignment near the western end of the development, where the LRT is uncovered). This road ends in a T junction at Booth, so it's quite possible the LRT is uncovered at the Booth Street bridge.
