Yep. And there actually will be TWO crown structures: one on top of the part of the office portion that sticks out beyond the hotel portion (and which will surround an outdoor "sky terrace"), and one at the very top.

Looking at the rendering on the first page, it looks like 8 more floors?
They are not the residences floors.

Remember too, on the first page the link to the "Almanac" of the entire building.

I have to say, this is really a handsome building. It's turning out quite nice.

PS: Also, I wonder if it will switch back to steel, or continue with the concrete?
The rendering appears to show the concrete "missing" ?
Like a lighter steel, similar to Comcast Center?

The extra height you're talking about is the crown, and not actual floors. This will have 49 floors total, plus the crown, and the lowest floor of the narrower upper residential portion is the 28th floor (the location of the outdoor "skyline terrace" or "sky terrace" or whatever the hell they're calling it). If you count up from there in one of the photos posted yesterday, you'll see that they had completed the 47th floor by the time that photo was taken. So 2 more concrete residential floors, and then the decorative crown (which I assume will also shield mechanicals from view). And yeah, my guess is that the crown will be constructed of steel, and not concrete.
