This reminded me of how there is a huge national mythology in Quebec about the beauty of our women.

I mean, this is the name and the logo of one of the biggest motorcoach operators in the province:

Quebec has interesting mythology in general. Off the top of my head this is one of the best examples:

And let's not forget everyone's favourite mascot:

Can't think of any other lumberjack snowmen around the world.

Western Canada has a few fun ones:

Sasquatch (semi-benevolent)/Makiskanewew (semi-malevolent)

The Olive May (steamboat for which the Cremation of Sam McGee is based on.)

Ogopogo too.

Another good legend is the giant Angus MacAskill from Cape Breton. He really existed.

This horrendous suburban condo in Saskatoon called "Aqua Terra" is tacky enough without its special water feature: "cascading waterfalls" down the street-facing side of the buildings:

https://www.google.ca/maps/@52.1500396,-...mzZfLYrvE3sYFAJ_eiXvA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Now I've heard that water damage to the buildings from the waterfalls has resulted in a massive cash call to owners for the repairs.

If you have so little taste that you bought a condo in this project, I'm not sure I have sympathy for you now that you're out thousands of dollars extra.

Do a 360 of the area and it's all ugly as hell. Yuck.

Needs to be photoshopped into Clockzilla scenes. Fear the goosestepping Harpeur.

Yes those would be good additions. Originally I was considering having Bonhomme lobbing giant poutine bombs at Clockzilla. Maybe even the giant Orange Julep stand. Perhaps smog monster Gilles could also make an appearance.

I love that a tacky condo feature was single handedly responsible for a special assessment for damaging the units. That's like proof positive that tackiness is a destructive force unto itself.

Thank you for reminding me of that mafia house! It's even easily identifiable from above in the Google earth view. Stands out like a sore thumb. I'll see what I can find for pictures of that house and it's Roman statues.
