How would you use it?

To narrow to entertain or dine. Too windy to do much else.

The developer and occupiers of the Metropolitan Tower wholeheartedly disagree with you: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_Tower_(Manhattan)

But then again, the only city you're familiar with is Toronto, so you can be forgiven.

NY has dramatically different land prices and sales/lease rates. What is profitable in NY isn't necessarily profitable elsewhere.

Location centric knowledge is the important piece. There's nothing to be forgiven for giving a correct answer for the topic at hand; a tridel building in downtown Toronto.

Profitability has nothing to do with sales/lease prices, just the difference between purchase price and sale/lease price. I appreciate that Tridel may not be the firm to try something different, but that wasn't my point. I do think you could find 65 buyers who would purchase a dramatically angled unit in Toronto.

Honestly I'd bolt my balcony door shut. I hate being outside high up (a building).

The world is a big place and that is the best example you could find? A 1980s triangle instead of a wedge? There's a 1980s wedge building just down the street from 10 York. Different time. Neither are as narrow as 10 York not that it really matters.

You obviously aren't too familiar with the Toronto market or that the dynamics can be vastly different between one market and another even within the same metro. The unit would have a ton of wasted space. It would probably be close to 1000 square feet for one bedroom. No one here would pay close to a million for that. It would also be a massive slab running parallel with the lake.

As is, the units in the wedge are pretty large but, at least, they are usable. Oh but, I forgot. You think it is a refrigerator box. LMAO.

When it comes to Tridel...the detail is in the cladding.

They will mess it up, if given the chance.

I scratch my head every time I look at One Bloor's ill-conceived balconies. They did turn out ok visually but I can't imagine they'll be used for much besides outdoor storage.

Thankfully, the frosting will block what eventually gets stored there.

I would imagine condos now prevent people from using balconies for outdoor storage.

Well, I don't see it. Why would condo boards allow it? Most regulate window coverings for appearances and offer bike storage lockers.

Maybe it's different in KW or the "too funny" was a precursor to you talking out of your ass.
