The last time I brought up the street car, some months ago, and how I could really care less about it ( with its current route and being downtown and etc.)

I actually think a street car is a great idea..... In some circumstances. Like Portland, San Diego, Orange County, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Long Beach and Austin and etc.
I honestly and truly believe that downtown has already outgrown any type of street car (and I will stand by that and not flip flop on the issue

).
Downtown needs to be the terminus for any street car system that is created in LA. Downtown instead needs to focus on heavy rail and other rail projects. Not cramming all of these different ideas ( bike lanes, wider side walks, car traffic, street cars, parklets) all onto streets that are already ridiculously laid out and crammed with traffic. Especially with something so gimmicky.
