Ha! That's awesome! The building's diamond shaped. What great brand continuity.

Classy.

I'll challenge Blue Diamond with Glitters Family Restaurant & Lounge in Regina. At least Blue Diamond has a lot of windows. I can't imagine what is going on in Glitters.

I can't even fathom the series of conversations and meetings that resulted in a building that looks like that.

On the plus side you could score some free tarps there!

Due to a previous job I've had to explore almost every industrial area in Toronto on foot. There's some weird stuff going on for sure.

What is with these Saskatchewan family restaurants?!? Makes Perkins look like the fucking Taj Mahal! Why are they trying to sound luxurious when family restaurants by definition serve cheap, shitty food?

Is that a condo in an office park? I might have actually seen that the last time I was up in the Chuck.

^ Office building.

I called it an "office park" earlier, meant industrial park.

Here's another angle from the street I posted earlier. Here you can see the giant inflatable golf dome behind the crappy little houses and office buildings. Further down the street there's an abandoned go-kart track.

I remember Glitters! Never been though. I think many of these restaurants must be at least from the 80's, and for whatever reason have still been able to exist.

Saskatoon has a currently running go-kart track just down the street from a golf dome as well.

"Glitters Family Restaurant" is a weird name for a strip club.

I thought it would be a good name for a gay bar!

Yes to both. It would also be a good name for a Nightclub in the 70's. Basically anything except for what it is: a boring family restaurant.

How experienced is the Wildrose caucus? I can't understand how they thought they would come out of that looking good to anyone.

I loved the excuse that they didn't think she'd still be in the room when they said it! Not only obnoxious, but chickenshit too!

It also seems to have led directly to their suspension of an MPP for an off-hand and subsequently withdraw twitter comment responding to a constituent's inappropriate comment about Premier Wynne. Seemed like an over-reaction to me, including because they'll now have to spin something to bring him back into caucus at some point.

No matter how hard they try the Wildrose will never escape that racist, xenophobic and idiotic element of their base. They go on and on about the NDP only winning as a protest vote against the PC's while ignoring the fact that a great number of their own votes were protest votes against the PC's. Fiscal Conservatives will likely distance themselves from this Republican brand of Donald Trump stupidity come the next election. Mark my words there will be more embarrassing gaffes like this before that time comes. Let's not forget the "Lake of Fire" debacle that cost them the election against Alison Redford back when Danielle Smith was leader. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with that one as it was their election to lose. Every time they get cocky they reveal their true nature and scare off any sane moderate voter who considered them as a viable option.

It's hard to feel sorry for Fildebrandt. A shred of common sense would have told him that his line of attack would make him look like a total small town asshole. I saw the clip of his performance in the Alta legislature and it was downright embarrassing. Being a jerk and revelling in it. What a formidable intellect.
