At the DBA luncheon last week, Bob Gomes indicated that they did not know the height of Brookfield Place with absolute certainty, and they would make sure that Stantec Tower would be taller. To me it speak of the Chrysler Builder vs. Empire State Building competition, and hiding the spire of the Chrysler building in the core of the building (elevator shaft?) until the last moment to reveal the extra height.

Makes me wonder if they have engineered the variability to make the tower taller if need be based on this interprovincial 🞵🞵🞵🞵 measuring contest?

Also just a wild stab in the dark, but this also makes me think that Tower "I" (current Baccarat site) is probably going to be ~180m then.
