So what is Vancouver's tallest residential-only building?

There are so many mixed use buildings these days with retail in the podium...

Maybe The Mark (no retail I don't think). I think The Mark is taller than any of the Coal Harbour towers in the park along Harbour Green.
And I think it's taller than West One (the tallest Concord tower).

Wha?

I love Van, lived there, have family property there, visit often. But Van always feels like a little big city.

I couldn't think of a better ambassador of mediocrity.

One midrise/highrise start for inner-city deadmo over the last 18 to 24 months (130 units - Symphony Living) with virtually non-existent low-rise infill as usual and with most of the inner-city continuing to look like a scrapyard - leads me to believe he has some pretty incredible mental issues to deal with.

Keep doing your thing Van! The quality and quantity of infill is simply staggering across the city.

If someone could paraphrase this, I think I'd understand it better. It seems based on a percieved criticism by Coldrsx, but I'm unsure of the follow-up statement here. Thank you.

I'll give it a shot. Not sure if I'm right or not.

1- edmonton
2-either a description of the city or the poster him/herself? More likely both.
3-I dont think its positive....

Yeah, just adding some perspective here about a guy hyping everything to the max within his mediocre city to then always taking passive aggressive shots at far superior cities such as Van, Cgy, TO.

As for Van - can't wait to visit again. Has been a few yrs, don't know if I can make it down this summer as I'm planning a big trip to EU but I'll try.

There won't be any bicycle storage in this tower or what does the bicycle parking mean here?

A good chuck of P1 and the P1 Mezzanine is basically bicycle storage (horizontal/vertical) along with a mezzanine changing room.

The table says 625 bike spaces for the residential units.

Cold you don't get the benefit of the doubt when you post things like this in the Vancouver section:

If you can't stop making not as subtle as you think comments like looking down on "little Vancouver" from 250.8m then please stay out of the Vancouver local.

Oh he's probably joking, lighten up! Let's not be like the Toronto SSPers

Plus, Vancouver prides itself on having an intimate "small town" scale.

I wonder what the "official" definition for residential-only is, like from the CTBUH. Because in all the global lists I can think of, almost every tower has retail at the base... I can see this one being eliminated because of the amount of (non-retail) commercial space. But The Melville, for example, would definately count.

EDIT - It was actually easy to find. The building needs to have at least 85% of its floor space dedicated to a single use.

Thanks.
That's actually a high percentage of non-residential.
