And here's a still image update of Mosaic Stadium 2.0 as well as more info for those that aren't from here/not following the construction as closely...
As can be seen on the right of the picture, the East roofing fabric is mostly laid out. It still needs to be stretched and set in place and the lower panels still need to be installed, but it's getting there.
Almost all of the seating in the lower bowl on the North and East sides are installed as well as the upper North endzone and some of the upper/mid East sideline.
They've mostly installed the 3rd section of roof supports on the West side. Just a few left along with final cross beams... Should be done within the next 1-2 weeks if they carry on with the same speed they've been working at.
They've started to prep the field surface (from the looks of things)... but until the crane is gone from the middle, they can't really get going too far on that.
There are some preliminary plans to hold a test event in October with the U of R Rams hosting the U of S (CIS) Huskies and the Regina Thunder hosting the Saskatoon Hilltops (CJFL) both on the same day at 2pm and 7pm. If they are done enough of the stadium when it rolls around, it'll likely be at the new stadium, otherwise, it'll be at the old stadium. That decision will likely come late in the summer though. Hopefully it happens because it'd be pretty awesome to check out the new stadium and take in some local football while we're at it, and having 2 Sask teams in both, it should draw well during a Rider bye-week.
