Very exciting!

http://brookfieldplacecalgary.com/webcam.html

The webcam view is really good - close enough to see detail. You can also see EAP just off the right, to give perspective on the height difference. From what I can tell, the camera itself seems about level with EAP's roof-line.

Has the height of the core topped out then?
Or will the building still be a bit taller with the crown?
Also I was hearing about how they might have given a false total height of this tower so other towers it has competition with couldn't build taller. Any chance this has happened and its actually higher than 810 feet?
Would be nice to keep that "Tallest building in Canada outside of Toronto" out of Edmonton's hands for a while longer if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure, but from the NW it looks a little taller than it was supposed to be. Also the tallest building outside of Toronto might go to Quebec city, they have a proposal for a 288m building

How much taller would it have to be in order to beat out Edmonton's new tallest?

I would love to retain the title as tallest outside of Toronto...I've got to many relatives in Edmonton who would love to rub it in that they have the tallest outside of Toronto. Lol!

This building will be another ~12 ish meters taller than it currently is once the crown is installed. That's another 4 storeys worth of high past the core.

I was figuring about 40' past the core for the estimated height. IMO.

It's not like you can hide the final height from the Stantec builders, Brookfield is almost topped out while Stantec might not even be at grade yet - plenty of time for them to adjust if need be if they even want to bother.

Feels like forever since new glass has gone up. I think they're doing the flame retardant spray in the upper section now

I think its possible to add more glass to the crown and make it surpass Stantec place in edmonton which is 251m

Need about 5meter more . however i dont think you can notice the difference in real life . and brookfield will be more massive than the one in Edmonton also more beautiful

You're clearly NOT an immigrant. That should be "must" have pics.
