They appear to be testing some of the exterior lighting scheme for the upper hotel portion of the tower (you can see it twinkle and change color in real time at http://www.listingcam.com/webcam/philly-skyline-webcam/):

Testing some exterior lighting tonight on the top hotel section, in addition to the main section:



This thing will be amazing at night when it's done.

As if the Schyukill isnt bad enough, that's going to be one helluva distraction with drivers looking that way!

6 1/2 (the 1/2 being the eastern side of the 12th floor of the hotel), plus a fairly tall crown that looks to be equivalent to about 6-8 floors as it slopes up to the southeast corner.

There are some towers going up in that last photo by TallCoolOne

Philly is spreading out and rising vertical all over the place.

TallCoolOne continues with the great updates.
