So is the part about the April parking holder's on the Eviva site not being renewed at least true?

Nice shots!

There will definitely be some sort of cladding on the Azure side facing Peachtree because I noticed that the windows are protruding from the side of the building and not flush.

I hope Skate Escape directly in front of YOO on Piedmont has no intention of leaving...we need small business like that one around Piedmont Park.

This rendering looks more dangerous than enticing: triangle pocket park surrounded by 2 and 3-lane roads.

it's kind of amusing that they're portraying a little triangular plot of undeveloped land as a park.

Developer Agrees to Operate Rooftop Amusement Park Near Atlanta’s BeltLine

Atlanta based Jamestown LP, which has been redeveloping the 90-year-old Sears facility into office, retail and residential space, last month signed a 10-year lease with Slater Hospitality Group to operate the 1.7-acre Skyline Park. The amusement park will include miniature golf, food, a dunking booth, a steeplechase game, a giant slide and a ride called a Heege, that simulates a free fall.Besides the amusement park, the building’s 6-acre roof will host other restaurants, an event space that can hold up to 500 people and private roof space for building tenants. Jamestown is spending about $18 million on all the roof amenities.

The rooftop, other than its incredible skyline views, now reminds me of the pier at Jersey Shore.

As for the development around Midtown, Azure's staggered balconies look incredible. Yoo's corner units look phenomenal as well. Just curious about how the covered facade will appear.

What I'm more curious about is what Alta will actually look like, as I haven't seen any decent renderings. That and what phase 2 of Azure will look like, as it's said for a while on their fence will be "announced soon".

Looks to be the foundations where the elevators will be as well as where the tower crane will sit while under construction.

Yoo's rendering here

Alta on the Park rendering

Azure at the Park - If you're referring to Phase II as the portion facing 10th street that will probably be another entity since it's owned by someone else.

Renderings of most of the major projects are on the project compilation.

Whoah, didn't realize this! Thanks to you and arctk2014.

I forgot about that Alta design entirely. I was only recalling the old base shot that appeared to show brick material. Wish we had a shot of what Yoo would look like from the Park rather than 13th St. I like the view on 13th St. more than what I see going up parallel to Piedmont. I really can't stand those tiny square windows. Ah well, we'll see what the finished product looks like soon enough!

As for Azure, yes I was alluding to phase 2 along 10th. The sign on the fence says phase 2 to be announced soon. Didn't realize different owners were involved?

The sign for Phase II of Azure says COMMING SOON, not announcing. I thought that property dispute had been cleared up.

There was a notorious landowner who bought up all the parcels along 11th street and sold them to Atlantic Realty (north of image). The remaining lot fronting Peachtree is owned by One Eighty Two Tenth, LLC - who is probably still tied to the original landowner which is a differenty entity than the land that Azure currently resides. Perhaps this is setting it up that if Urban Realty has a LOI for a future phase they can secure it - but much of that probably hinges on how well the first phase leases up and real estate timing.
