This is rising very slowly ! It should get interesting when it nears the 30 story level and the exo skeleton becomes more pronounced.

Looks like the architect died.

====================

Starchitect Zaha Hadid dies of a heart attack at 65

Zaha Hadid, the renowned architect known for her curvy and futuristic designs, has died. She was 65.

Hadid died on Thursday of a heart attack at a Miami hospital, where she was being treated for bronchitis, the BBC reported. The Baghdad-born architect was the first woman to receive the Pritzker Prize in 2004. This year she was the first woman to win the Royal Institute of British Architects Gold Medal.

She left Miami with a iconic tower that is reshaping the the skyline.
There are no other skyscrapers in the Western Hemisphere designed by her and she has left a legacy that the residents of Miami should be proud of.

She obviously liked Miami since she had a condo on the beach and had two projects going on in the area with 1000 Museum Park being the largest project.

RIP Zaha

We will not forget what you have done for the Miami Skyline.

If I was in Miami, I'd stop by the construction site and leave flowers for Zaha ... However, I'm currently in Chicago..., She has left us with a beautiful skyscraper, a very welcome addition to our skyline ..., RIP Zaha ... and may Heaven be touched by your designs ...

I wonder if there is a memorial for her on the site of 1000 Museum ? I'm not in Miami either now so I don't have a clue if anybody is dropping off flowers for her.
Maybe one of the Miami forummers knows what is going on.
