We have so many fun projects on the go right now in Canada, such a massive improvement over what would get us excited just ten years ago. Pretty sure that when Brookfield and Telus are done my favorite 3 Calgary towers will all be it's newest tallest structures.

Harbour Plaza's not doing it for me. The balconies look a bit cheap IMO - Ice is much better.

One Bloor is killing it. Interested to see the roof treatment.

I feel the same way. I'm hoping with Harbour Plaza it all comes together in the end. Ice is as close to perfection as one could hope for in a residential development.

I'm warming up to Harbour Plaza as the gaps in the balconies' cladding (guessing acrylic) are filled in. The contrast also looks spectacular from afar and lower light levels. The same can't be said for Ice..

Funny how that pit is so unequal in terms of floors built.

The way they are building the floors on that one side, seems a bit odd.

Might still be a while before it gets anywhere close to ground level though.

Is Stantec going to be steel or concrete? Fingers crossed for steel. It's so much more fun to watch go up.

You do realize there are 2 towers going up in that shot Jw.Marriott and Stantec . Marriott is the one that is higher currently . The construction left of the picture is the parkade for the Ice distric and rink which started well before the towers.

Those rounded corners on Brookfield Place really make all the difference for me. It goes from ho-hum to great with just one simple little detail. I personally think it would look better with a little more detail (a cantilever or setback somewhere) but that's just my opinion of course.

The illuminated crown on top will really push it over the edge IMO
