Simons, Nordstrom Rack or Saks Off 5th would be great there.

I would expect to see two if not all 3 of those retailers there.

Nice.

Those would generate a ton of traffic - Canadians being "value" conscious and all.

Uniqlo? Marks and Spencer making a comeback would be nice too.

Something new like French department store The Galeries Lafayette or Japanese Isetan would be cool too. Just dreaming.

T.O.'s 'burb Mississauga's Square One is also going lux. Maybe Shape Properties also has the same idea for the new Brentwood Mall.

Things are indeed progressing fast. Here's how everything looked like yesterday.

Through food court window.

From mall roof.

I also love how that panorama turned out. In real life Metrotown does not appear as distant as it does in the picture.

Awesome pics Klazu. This looks like a mega project fitting for a discovery channel documentary.

More excited about this mall concept than ever; huge fan of food vs shopping. The idea that this is supposed to be filled with eateries, restaurants, is salivating to say the least.

Looking good. While I don't frequent that area often last week I was out at Burnaby City Hall twice for 2 meetings and each time I was in view of Brentwood I was trying to see the construction progress. Can't wait until these really start to rise, given the surrounding area its really going to look good.

wow...it did. Once it starts building up, it'll need to be moved again in order to see the whole construction.

Yeah, it's an interesting perspective. Must be on one of the cranes, I guess? I kind of preferred the old view...it was wider and you could see the sky. I used it at work to see what the weather was doing so I'd know if I needed my umbrella to walk home...haha.
