Perhaps someone viewing wanted to see how much natural light comes in. I would want to see the space without the boards on. I really hope a deal is imminent.

Interestingly, 12 years ago, it was sold (asking price was $449k), today the asking price is $1.9 million. Given that 44 parking spots are included, residential conversion would be great, and easier to move with parking.

Yeah, it was originally going to be phase 2 of the Fairchild Lofts project, as I recall. They dropped that not long after the whole project got started, though. It would be fantastic to see something finally happen with those buildings... the Exchange District has reached the critical mass where it's not out of the question now.

$15,000 per parking stall and $40ft2 +/-

The lot appears to be leased to the condo?

Value in the parking lot but the bldg is a big investment. They need an owner user for the building with a long term plan.

Yes. With parking, hopefully we will see residential conversion before long.

Apparently the design of 98 Market is now nicer than the horrendous design previously shown. I hope those stupid Juliet balconies have been omitted.

Both the signs look great. Good to see people actually doing something a little out of the ordinary design wise.

Is this the doughnut store on Broadway we're talking about?

Yeah, Typography 101.

The old digital print shop that was there, docsNOW had a really nice logo.

My fav. though is BISONBOOKS

Bronuts.ca looks like 1995 HTML in Chrome 49 and a large white space at the top in Firefox 44.

Online presence was a second thought I guess.

Actually it's really nice flat design. Very current, looks great. It is great to see a Winnipeg company incorporating a little design in their brand, something you don't see a lot of in Winnipeg.

Really wonder what the Pal branding does for Whiskey Dix, which really lost a TON of steam in the past few years.

Quite a lot... now middle-aged people who would have never darkened the doors at Whiskey Dix will be showing up regularly.

Although that said, I look forward to the day when that stately old building is used for something better than a weekend-only nightclub.

That's actually really smart, they have a great little patio space which I'm sure will be packed.

I hate nightclubs that are only used for 5 hour stretches, 3 nights a week. Running a restaurant focused on lunch will add life to that dead block of Main on a daily basis.
