A new render of Portman's Buckhead Condo tower in Bizjournal as well... (rather boring view though)

JPX Works LLC wants to break ground on its new 21-story condo tower in Buckhead this August. It’s calling the project Emerson, with 44 units that will start at $1.8 million, among the priciest new units in the city.

It's not a an in the mix kind of view...but its definitely a nice view of the Midtown/Downtown skyline. and its hands down one of the best modern and upscale properties going up in Atlanta.

Current and proposed Piedmont Hospital buildings.

With a total projected cost of $500 million, the proposed Piedmont Hospital expansion stands in stark contrast to the current structure. There are some references to the current structure in the architectural renders.

$500 million is for more than just the new building, the way I understand it.

For such a unique offering in a great location, sales should be brisk. I'm really glad to see this one move forward.

Yep, the rumors I've heard about this building would confirm that is not a typo.

Well, if you count the floors, it does seem to add up to around 56 floors lol.

Most impressive thing about that article is that every single building listed will be within a half mile walk of a MARTA rail station. Many of them less than a block.

This nighttime rendering of Peachtree & 5th is new, looks like it will have a nicely lit crown:

It's a shame the HOA at 805 Peachtree across the street has neglected their lighting... that building used to have neon but a lot of it burned out and now it's just dark. Same for the office building behind those new apartments, actually. I guess it's something builders put in and owners eventually forget.

I think the neon was actually installed on 805 fairly recently, definitely after the condo conversion.
