Well if my counting is correct, and there is another 6 floors of steel plus the crown... this thing will look 70 stories from the narrow side.

But I know what you're getting at, this building should have been 270 - 280m at least!

i kind of already looks like 70 from the east and west, but from north to south in looks 45 and fat in my opinion.

In all fairness it's not done yet!!! Look at the difference between eighth ave. place east and west which is approx. 100feet; 105 feet between Suncor and Brookfield. Could finish looking pretty nice. Too bad it wasn't 900feet as it would attract the eye away from the "girthy" Bow which only looks decent when looked at from the south. Just my opinion, I know, I know, keep it to myself!

—, just accept it for what it is and hope that we eventually get the second tower as opposed to the BMO second tower which never happened.

^ At least in Brookfield's case the taller tower went first and will be completed, unlike BMO where the 64 storey beauty was never built.

My favourite angle of the Bow is from the east coming in on Memorial Dr.

Do you or anyone know where there is a rendering of the 64 story tower could be found?

Mine is coming in through Inglewood on 9 Ave - you get probably the slimmest angle of the Bow from that direction.

And the BMO building we do have is the ugliest building downtown

I like it. The complete plan with its tall twin was great. But even if I weren't a fan and knowing these things are subjective, I can't imagine a world in which it would be the ugliest building downtown. There is a lot of competition for that crown.

Completely disagree. It's one of our more interesting towers. It's too bad it isn't more visible outside the core.

The taller twin would have helped with that problem.

It was basically a taller version of what's built, turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
I know there are some renderings floating around on this site & others but I'm too lazy to find them. There are also some scraps of paper in a box in my basement somewhere that I'm also too lazy to dig out.
