It's amazing how much the endzone ceiling improves the look of BMO.

now they just need to take care of that north endzone next off season. hopefully something more permanent is in the works

There is something to be said for stadiums that are at least partly enclosed by seating (at least a horseshoe configuration, if not a complete bowl).

I'm really curious on what MLSE's plan is with the north end. I envision a somewhat tall 25 feet or so structure about 35-40 feet wide, open underneath, 5-6 rows of seating up top. and then some retractable seating for TFC game. on a Lower level obviously. Even if they could get TFC seating to end half way up the CFL endzone it would just about match where the prior north end ended. I do hope that they do something for the TFC fans to keep the atmosphere in. Also for the CFL, it will just look more suited to the cfl with a closed off endzone

Investors Group Field has the same effect - you can see the arches from really far away. Quite impressive. BMO's visibility will add to the Argos' visibility as well. That doesn't look like the home of a second-rate organization or league.

I didn't think covering the stands would help with the 'temporary bleacher' look of BMO but fair play, it already makes a striking difference.

Yes, that is the NW part of the stadium. The prevailing wind is usually from the NW in the evening.
