I'm thinking the crown is what's going to make up some height in the over all height of this building.

What if Brookfield pulls off what they did with the Calgary Tower, announce a height not actually true, to mislead other projects to beat their height, then announce afterward the true height of their own building to be still taller than the others? Did they include the crown for the 247m height?

Spamming? Posting regular construction updates is spam?

Photo updates are the exact opposite of spam in the Construction thread. I'd take 10 SurrealPlaces over your trolling any day of the week.

That's what I'm hoping for! The crown is supposed to be something like 7 meters on its own so that would be cool.

What a totally characteristically stupid thing to say.

Steel is now up to floor 51 on the southwest corner. The core looks like it might be at 54 but I can't really tell. Pretty close to the top though!

Definitely correct. Steel is on 51, core is ready to pour 54, likely pour tomorrow, jump sunday. core extends to 58 should see it topped out near the 3 week this month. Getting real close. still going to see some substantial height increase with the steel and crown.

Taken yesterday from 6th Ave, just a little west of Bow Valley Square:

Edit: The picture was way too big, so here's the link instead: http://www.imgur.com/0sjwzps
