This is a few weeks old, and was originally about the snow piled up on this person's car, but I thought the view down Gottingen was interesting. Looks like that's the Pearl with the Nova Centre towers in behind:
I believe the tower in front is office and the one in behind is hotel.
It's starting to look really good. Before the cladding went up it looked very heavy because of the concrete and shadows but with the glass and lights in the interior it will look much brighter. I like the pattern too.

No further details provided. I guess this has to do with the bunker-looking section of the podium?
I think this is possibly the coolest side-efftect of a construction project ever. lol My brother texted me a couple weeks ago (he works at the Central Library) when he was on the way to work with something alone the lines of "you can hear the convention centre screaming all the way from the ferry terminal today" .. I was very confused.. but I'm so thankful someone got a video of that, the entire building is a wind instrument.. that's incredible!
Joe Ramia, whose company Rank Inc. is the developer behind the $500-million Nova Centre project in downtown Halifax, has indicated he wants to make changes to the outside facing Market Street, the materials used at the base, and the tower on the corner of Sackville and Market streets.

It's cool for about 30 seconds. I honestly don't know how workers in the surrounding businesses (or even the construction workers on site!) are putting up with it.
