Snow load is an interesting point. From the way it looks (which doesn't mean anything at this point) it appears there will be a lot of snow trapped on the roof between the slanted parts covered by tin and those vertical things right on the edge of the roof line.

There were some questions earlier in this thread about where the LED stadium sports lights would be installed. Looks as though they are attached to the cat walk.

Is anyone else having problems with the stadium cam website? Today, out of the blue, every time I try log on to the site it turns into pop-up and ad hell. Random ads start playing on audio. It could be my computer but it seems odd that reginarevitalization.ca is the only site I have problems with?

Sorry, seems fine to me. Never had an issue.

You may want to run this on your machine to see if there's something piggybacking onto your browser.

Thanks. Malewarebytes couldn't resolve it. Spend the better part of a day getting rid of it. Finally found a site called "bleepingcomputer.com" and ran a series of kills that ran in dos that finally addressed it. It wasn't just on regina revitalization or from that site that I can tell. I would get the audio for "downey fabric softer ads" among other sporadic pop ups and couldn't figure out where it was coming from but it bogged my computer down to a crawl.
If you ever get something that malewarebytes can't deal with - check out bleepingcomputer.com (virus removal guides) if you are ever that unfortunate.

The third extension of the trusses are going up on the north side. That facility is beginning to look amazing!

This is great that the pre-cast is from Weyburn, but I am still really interested in learning where the roof trusses were fabricated.

I didn't bother taking any pictures as they were just some landscaping plans and didn't look like a big change from what exists now. They will be regrading the open areas as there are a lot of low spots now. It sounds like the paths will be asphalt as will the apron around the stadium. There are a few areas such as entrances to the park that will have upgraded brick surfaces . They are replacing some of the trees and trying to maintain the ones that are in good shape. They do not have a budget right now for a permanent fence around the park to make it secure on game day.

the fountain will be replaced but they do not know what it will look like

There was very little about the surrounding area and nothing about the path. I was able to confirm that there will be trees planted in various areas around the stadium as per the renders

I appears they are starting to dig to install drainage/weeping tile system for the field level now.

I really hope that Armoury cleans up that junk yard they own just to the north of the new stadium. In fact it would be nice if the city purchased that and the former site of the RUSI and incorporate it into the stadium footprint.

The two spots are the white building (no longer there) to the right of the picture and the property immediately to the west.

That will be a really awesome area. Maybe they should put a statue of George Reed where the fountain is. I wish they would paint the Brandt Centre/Queensbury. That Orange makes it look very old & hideous.

The GA Lounge has a glass wall that looks right out on it. Also the Club lounge is glass walled overlooking the park on the 2nd and third level including a huge second floor balcony facing the park.
