It may be a federal holiday, but Midtown is still abuzz with construction activity! Some photos I took this morning:
I'll start off with 98 14th Street, since there have been so many questions lately:
White tape on all surrounding trees:
These pink markers appeared to be placed at what might be the site's borders:
There were also several white markers in what I would call the valley of the site. Sewer caps on the site were also spray painted in orange. Not much else in terms of noticeable activity:
NCR Headquarters with Modera Midtown in the background behind University House, and Alta Midtown topped out to the right:
Museum Place starting to take shape across from the High:
Amli Arts Center:
60 11th St:
And if you simply spin around, behold Post Midtown Millennium. Look at all those cranes in one small shot:
Atlantic House on the left, with Related Group's 14th St. tower on the right:

Alternate view of Atlantic House/Related Group's 14th st tower, facing North:
Another crane filled shot, standing on 14th and facing South. From left to right, you have the crane for 60 11th St, Post Midtown Millenium, and one of the cranes for Atlantic House. The parking lot directly in front is the site of a dual brand Marriott hotel proposal.
