Quizno's is to subs what A&W is to burgers. If they didn't have coupons out all the time, nobody would go there. Too pricey for what they serve.

The difference being that A&W is probably the best fast food burger you can get.

I disagree. A double Whopper or double Quarter pounder are much tastier.

Other than Tim Horton's none of the chains that Centerplate brought into the MTS center for non event times lasted. They don't even bother to keep the "local 204" open for lunch and the Subway was closed and re-branded to a generic sub place for events only.

The Arby's was confusing as they had two different prices, the posted ones were for events and during the day they had lower prices but you had to go to the till to see them on a card. Most people during the day saw the high prices on the menu board and kept walking past.

To each their own, I suppose, but there's nothing more flavourful in terms of the actual meat than an uncle burger.

Its only been the last 2 or 3 years or so that most places have gone for that for the menu boards. People I know that own a Tim's had to close for the day for their sign board conversion. Not enough room for the installers and the serving staff behind the display cases for both to work safely.

I remember the McD's at City Place using a broom stick to flip there boards from breakfast menu to the normal menu.

Quiznos and A&W are both at the top of their respective classes. Quiznos is 1000000x better then Subway in terms of quality, freshness, taste, everything really.. and that hoeny mustard dip rool:

I've never tried Quiznos, to be honest. I guess I better try them before they're gone lol.

I went to Fusian Experience last night. Hot damn, that was one of if not the most incredible meals I've ever had, and I only started eating fish two weeks ago (spare me). My sister, who is a huge Japanese food fan and has eaten in some of the best restaurant all over the world and lived in Toronto for 10 years said it was probably the best Japanese food she's ever had. You could go there and not even have any rolls because the tapas menu is so amazing. Also it only seats 20 ppl which is awesome.

I dont eat at Subway much, but I definitely think Quizno's is the better sub. I dont even think the prices are that different, as even Subway's footlongs are into the $9 range now easily.

Remember tho there was a Summer where Quiznos had those $5 sub deals, and I went crazy on the beef dip.

All this for $800!

Didn't Famena's Roti start out running the restaurant at the Garrick? Could be a good way to get into the business.

That could be a great stepping stone for a food truck looking to take the step up to a year-round permanent place.

Yes it did... she was in The Garrick for a while.

I'm sure that could be a pretty hot little food spot if Skycity ever gets off the ground.

Mr Sub. We need more of them. There's only one on Henderson. The only fast food sub place that has bread that doesn't smell/taste like bleach.
