I would not encourage bikes up on that, could see junkies riding stolen bikes off the edge.

Cool concept though (but i am guessing a railing will be needed where it goes over top of the path below).

The again, this is in Coal Harbour where nice things do have a better chance of survival.

Citadel Cloud is amazing, but I'm not 100% sold on how it meshes with the Citadel at the base. It's a good use of the space above the theatre, though...

Yeah, at the end of the day it's going to be a 2016 design perched on top of a 1982 or whatever base. You can do that kind of thing with a nice classic beaux arts base for a bit of contrast, but those two eras pictured are too close together, it's like wearing a shirt and pants that are two different shades of gray, just jarring to the eye.

That 115 Dupont proposal isn't going ahead as shown above. It's been changed a lot since then.

So happy for Ottawa: new subway, a downtown arena, a development plan for the waterfall, LeBreton flats finally developed, the scrapping of that 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 mess of a victims of communism memorial, renovation of the centre block, new and legit skyscrapers going up on both sides of the river. And more!

I'm always rooting for Ottawa, that little guy nobody I know seems to love.

My wife is from there actually, most of her friends too. They can't stand the place. In fact, I like it alot more than they do.
