Improve the exterior too please. The Dublin Gate Reno on Main makes a big difference for that block. Tractor could do the same.

Tractor will be "modern" it says.

I think the Dublin Gate façade on Central looks a bit out of place though since it's just a segment of a longer facade.

I think Tractor looks pretty decent thus far. Very clean and modern, high ceilings a plus too!

Apples & Oranges. Dublin's brand lended itself well to an exterior redesign of their CRU. I sincerely hope, and suspect Tractor won't re-design the exterior of this beautiful glass box.

any thoughts as to when the huge city owned plot of land between the OV and the Cambie Bridge will start to get carved up and sold off by the city?

With the Concert site now fully underway .... I was thinking it can't be too far off.

Only a narrow strip of land north of 1st Ave will be for condos, as according to OV's OCP. The rest would be park, parks and more parks. Just kidding. There will be a school, park and more parks. No retail whatsoever.

No motivation for stakeholders to quickly develop the area, it seems.

The public art is meant to be "salt piles", in homage to the Salt Building I'm guessing.

So... probably no water.

Couple of things:

1) the school placeholder site is within the current area defined as Hinge Park, NOT in the undeveloped parcel known as Site 1A
2) Site 1A has some park land planned for along the waterfront, but MANY buildings behind. Depending how you read the ODP, there could be a dozen or more buildings + townhouse podiums for the site. (Page 9 - SEFC Public Realm Plan)

Ahh - I could see kids crawling up them despite the "pit"
- a bit like the old polar bear pit at the Stanley Park zoo.

It's pretty terrible looking. I can't believe it's in a finished state as-is. I much prefer more interactive pieces like the birds in the OV, or the laughing guys down at English Bay, etc.

Not sure on the fence, but I was told the art is "done".

Someone should be help accountable for such a waste of public money. That looks like 🞵🞵🞵🞵.

Oh wow. I walk by this almost daily. I have been wondering for months what it would look like when finished, apparently it was finished this whole time...
