Ryan, your photos (even the point and click variety) are epic. You might be my #3 man-crush.

A beard equals instant credibility and manliness that no amount of back-country experience can make up for.

The only thing better than bunt hair is bunt beard. The DC cold killed the battery in my shaver too. If you all want to experience the wonder, we have until my next quarterly trip to the store to schedule a forum happy hour.

Awwww #3?!! I'm honored! I really am.

I'm afraid, with the photos, that I am done for the week and am going to completely cheat on Denver this weekend. I'm off to take some sweeeeeeet super-tall construction, condo infill, and sexy blank-wall treatment pictures. (I'm going to LA )

You just need to keep it. Let the true Coloradan seep into your... face? I know you can be #1 man crush on this forum, with everyone. You just need the beard!

IIRC they are going to have to use luffers for this project. I remember a few years back looking at the construction documents, and there was no option for a top slewing crane. I could be wrong but this is as urban as it gets in Denver. Come on luffing jib cranes!!

That's by far the highest resolution construction cam I have seen! Nice find!

So, that camera is showing that the apartment portion of the project is U/C, but not the office. Hopefully it's just a phased construction and not a case of where Shea is going to hold-off on the office portion.

Renaming it to 1776 Curtis likely means at this time its just the apartment building and parking garage going up because the office tower is 999 17th St., but hopefully like you said its just phased construction. You can also see they left the asphalt in place at the office tower portion for now...

I think it's just out of view on the webcam, but they've also plopped down some pretty serious construction trailers on the site, which certainly would suggest that they're not touching the front part of the parcel for quite awhile.

Apparently, from what I heard, both phases are going open / complete at the same time.

Because the office portion is significantly smaller, I'm sure they are just going to start it later.

Let's do it. We can have a beard contest.

That would make sense and it's hopefully what occurs. Even though the office portion is scaled-down from the old version, it would be a significant addition to the 17th St wall.

I think Bunt and I are in the same gene tree (probably one of us is a mailman baby), so I guarantee he can also grow a thick, sweet beard.

But they're from you and your unique view, so they are mega special.

Well, thank you! For what it's worth, I think you probably have the most epic beard here... part of that is probably because you're the only one of these guys that I've actually seen with a beard.
