Honestly I think that 10 units per acre is the largest lot that should be enforced by a municipality in the Salt Lake Metro(lots can be larger but cities won't force them to be). Even then 10 per acre does not constitute TOD, let alone 7. It just ****** doesn't.

This county drives me nuts. I'm trying to help my parents design a smaller house on a 6000 square foot lot. Sure, SLCo
allows a house on a 6000 square foot lot --- but then they require a 30 foot backyard, 25 foot front yard, 11 foot sideyards ... by the time I was done, I'm left with only 25x45 feet to plan an entire house.
We'll never get compact development when the county requires this sort of nonsense. It forces people to have to zone larger lots.
