Should we expect a floor per week with the new smaller core or is that ambitious?

Not sure what floor they are on but this is suppose to deliver 6/1/2016. That's around 20 weeks from now. I think the transition floor is 27 (again, not sure if that is where they are) leaving 22 left after that. So technically they need at least a floor a week to hit 6/1.

From what I have heard they are approximately three months behind schedule.

So, more like 32 weeks for 22 floors. Floor every 10 days.

There is a large difference between the time required for topping out the core and delivering the building.

Perhaps the commercial component may deliver by June 2016?

They'll want to go at a pretty good clip to cut back the huge fines.

They may have underestimated the time needed for the transition floor. It seemed like ages before they moved on.

I'm looking at FMC tower right now at night and it looks like there is some sort of animated light display on the north face of the building ala the Cira Centre. It's on only a small part of the north face but I'm hoping that it's just a part of a test od something larger. The only lights we've seen so far have been on the east-west axis, so hopefully this is an indication of something to come.

Completion is 12/2016 per building site sign. I don't think that is a new thing or a result of delay (I suppose it could be pushed back 3 months further into 2017 per ConstructStudent, who usually has good intel). Not sure where you heard delivery of 6/1/2016. I could be wrong, though. Been known to happen!
