Yeah - and it's not hipster. Just... sad. I'm not sure how the sponsorships work - if it's the entertainment district or the bar or what - but Bud Light and Lambs have all the ads with the GS logo.

Does anyone have a picture of this area without the people? Can't figure out what's second floor and what's first in that central area.

No, sorry. On the bottom it looks like they're on a roof in the middle. But at the top it looks like they're not and its just some sort of gate.

^So what looks like a wall in the photo with the NYE crowd is... what exactly? Or is NPS (I assume that's the plaza in the pic) elevated above grade?

Not all of us are super-familiar with the minutiae of Toronto's civic plazas..

Lambs makes sense to me, but Bud Light is just a really bizarre beer to have affiliated with George St (from the perspective of George St, of course, not Bud Light). Even like, Red Stripe would seem like a better "fit".

Is this a long-established sponsorship?

It's an elevated walkway that goes around the perimeter of the plaza. https://goo.gl/maps/qLgkBUTHBLF2

Thanks, guys. I didn't realize it was the square by City Hall I thought I read in here that they were keeping but moving that TORONTO sign.

That elevated walkway would be such an awesome place to people watch on NYE.

The bank also has a very elaborate ceiling, but unfortunately it doesn't photograph well in the evening when the lights are on. I'll try to get a pic some other time though, it's honestly one of the most elaborate not-a-cathedral ceilings I've ever seen.

You're from Switft Current? Do you know why the Bus Station restaurant is only open for like 2 of the 4 buses that go through each day? I get the late night one, but I remember one of them seemed easy to manage.

How was this fun for anybody? No booze and a half million people, no thanks. What an insane pic. Did your friend take this? If so it must have sucked having to work at the Bay New Years Eve.

There was no booze? How did they even get all those people to show up then? Pay them??

Why would you need alcohol to go to that?
