I'm probably the only one who thinks this...

111 stands out in the skyline, but from the street, the tower looks short. I'm not sure why.

After giving it some thought, I think it may have to do with the height of each floor. Most 400'-ish buildings have around 35 stories. 111, having only 24 floors, may be causing me too perceive it as being shorter.

I think it's partly from the fact that 111 fills an empty hole in the skyline when viewed from a distance. From the ground we can compare it to other buildings and object on the ground.

Me too! The potential here to do the right thing and open this entire block to pedestrian life without having to rebuild most of the block will be a first for SLC.

I wøuld be interested in seeing where the cafe will be located. Is it easily accessible from the street? If not, all I can say is, flop.

It will be at the south end of the Lobby, accessed from either the Lobby or Main St.

Really enjoyed these updated images of the new Regent St. Project from a few pages back on the SLC Thread, so I bumped them up here also. This is really shaping up to be an exciting extension between CCC and Gallivan.
