I just don't agree with this. It won't go down much maybe as a percentage overall in Colorado, but I believe it will in Denver proper, only because the private and public sectors are putting in infrastructure to make this possible. Transit investments, bike and ped infrastructure, as many car shares as any city in North America, Uber friendly, Lyft, etc. etc.
It's a young city and that demographic is most likely to give up a car if they can still get around as easily.
It's hard to imagine this now, but $5/gallon or $8/gallon changes lifestyles...
People make decisions with their wallets.
