In this Cesar Pelli interview he is dramatically framed by a model of Cira II (on the left) as he talks about Cira I. There are also some Cira-looking models on the right. His interview is in part 2 of 2 but both parts are worth viewing!

As I drove by this evening I saw what appeared to be a test of the lighting feature of the building. It was just on one level but it appeared to be a horizontal strip of LED lights across several sections of the level. The lights were smaller than on Cira, with several lights per pane of glass. Did anyone else see this?

Oh good, I was hoping they'd include that. I recall a few pages back when someone posted a model with Cira II in the background the FMC has horizontal strips of lighting. I think this would look nice!

From 6:30pm this evening, a glimpse at the future lighting scheme. From what I could tell, it looked like rows of tightly packed LED lights.

Checking the webcam this morning, and it looks like they are starting to form the next floor, (the 29th floor?). Vertical progress is happening!
