Indeed. It looks like it will be something similar to Kimmel Center from a render at the actual building site.

That core crane is almost up to top of IBC tower at this point. It's far more noticeable now.

I wonder how many city people (individuals who are not members of SSP, working in Center City, just walking by this huge construction site daily) even realize that they are walking past the next city's tallest?

I work right around the corner. I see people all day long stopping and looking at it and stopping and taking pictures. I think a lot of people know by now just because of all the news coverage on it. Two of my uncles who work in the city (one for IBX) also know about it but know nothing about development or other projects happening in the city. My uncle who works for IBX had no idea what they were building at 1919 Market right next door until I told him lol.

I live about over an hour drive from Center City's 30th Street Station and about 122 minutes from Midtown Manhattan and I know much more details about the developments going on simply because I love skylines!

I just wondered because (from my own personal experience in Manhattan), I witnessed many regulars speed-walking past awesome construction sites without a glance, a look or even a smile.
Just knowing what we are all getting definately makes me smile!

Because I prefer to park near 30th Street Station, I know I will enjoy the developments going on over there when I do visit the city!!

It is not a surprise if anyone does not realize 1919 Market is being built.

I was driving on 76 yesterday. The steel is starting to get pretty noticeable. I'd say 12-14 floors up. starting to make an impact.
