Was down the this morning and Dirtzilla was still the only crane on site, all hooked up to it's bucket and ready to go. Still three excavators busy in the pit, one on the east side still making a mound for Dirtzilla, another on the west side next to some sort of drilling apparatus.

Did see a concrete truck there Friday afternoon but couldn't determine what the concrete was being poured for.

Dirtzilla

It appears like Telus Sky is almost done digging the pit? Looks like about 80feet deep? 30m is 98.4 ft.

Actually the raft is only going to be around 5 feet thick. I know the rebar foreman for this site, and he's already studying the drawings at home.

Hey any chance then if you know who is doing the formwork and concrete for this building, maybe that rebar foreman you know, knows too

Just stopped by and there appears to be formwork in the pit near the SE corner

Looks like they're setting up to take Dirtzilla away tonight, the truck loader is already gone and Centre Street is closed as of 9:45pm..

Hmm. Thought they would use a luffing crane. Seems like a pretty tight spot.

Plenty of activity at this site this morning, dirtzilla's crane is still on site and another mobile crane was busy removing excavators from the pit and loading them onto trucks to be taken away.
