I disagree. Where condo builders fail, Toronto's custom home developers (and midrise developers) shine in nailing proportions and using smart alternatives to expensive materials (i.e using concrete in place of stone and splurging on copper accents, window frames, railings, real brick accents above/below windows) There are countless neighborhoods full of excellent faux historic homes.
