Lol I don't know if I should even respond with a serious response.

I seriously doubt that anyone in denial of where the chinese money is coming from has much education in politics or history.

It couldn't get more blatant.

"Tal called the promise to collect more data “very positive”, saying that “regardless of who wins this election, this is something that we desperately need.”

However, he said it’s unlikely that foreign investment — which tends to be focused on the high-end, luxury segment of the real estate market — is having a notable impact on the affordability of average homes."

Here's a study of real estate transactions from 2014-2015 in part of Vancouver's West Side (west of Alma): http://www.slideshare.net/mobile/ayan604...ds-of-the-city-of-vancouver-a-case-study

Over $500M in houses sold in one year, 2/3 Chinese buyers, median price around $3M, most common occupation of purchaser is "homemaker".

Yes I heard of that Andy guy before. He's sort of famous locally as a guy against foreigners since he works for Bing Thom, people give him a voice. I agree with the homemaker part. It meets the 'profile' so to speak.

I also have no problem in saying that it is the Chinese themselves who are not only causing this but are completely disrespectful, offensive, egotistical, tax avoiding, consumer and money driven xxxxing crocks..

Why?.............because not only are these CHINESE money launders totally disinteresting in Canada or being Canadians except when they get the late night wrap on the door by a anti-corruption squad and need a quick getaway but also because of their blatant antipathy towards Canadians themselves.

I for one would not have the gall or complete disrespect of the community or country I am moving to to buy a house on speck and then tear it down along with the trees and put up a monstrosity that bears no resemblance to the neighbourhood itself. They have complete disinterest in becoming part of their community when their first action when arriving is to begin to change it for strictly their own benefit.

By doing such a thing they are not only being offensive to their new neighbours but openly telling them that not only do I not want to become part of the community but I actually don't like the neighbourhood and the lifestyle of the my new neighbours but also that I am willing to destroy it and if you don't like my non-conforming house or lifestyle then YOU {having lived there and respected the area} can leave because I am the one with the money and your concerns are of no relevance.

Such things require a offensive mentality and so no, I don't want such people in my city and so yes I say...............go back to China because you are not wanted here.

I am proud to say that I would never even contemplate doing so a offensive thins and anybody who does he is money driven, disrespectful, self absorbed prick.

I expect the real estate bot on this thread will be here shortly to say: "Nothing to see here, you racists. Move along."

Nailed it.

Three forums including this one under three different user handles from what I have gathered so far. I would not be surprised at all if there are even more forums this real estate shill is polluting on the regular.

RFD forum posting under "popbottle", http://forums.redflagdeals.com/vancouver...ves-half-empty-neighbourhoods-1843223/2/

Real estate talk forum posting under "tdma800", http://www.realestatetalks.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=129458&start=120

And of course this forum posting under "st7860".

What I don't understand is how someone can be called "racist" in a situation like this when the circumstance they are referring to is the honest truth?

When there was still a future shop store in north vancouver last year , saying that those bleeping natives get their electronics tax free doesn't mean it isn't racist even though it was true

New study: Vancouver housing market fuelled by Chinese buyers

Quote:
A new study that puts data behind the widely held but difficult-to-prove assumption that off-shore money is driving Vancouver’s superheated housing market has concluded the vast majority of houses on the city’s affluent west side have been bought by new immigrants from China, many of whom don’t earn their living here.
I'm shocked. Shocked!!

Let's see how long it takes for the Real Estate Defence Force to respond.
