I like that last pic. Hamilton and St. Catherines need to up their skylines so that Lake Ontario is ringed by them.

Yup, according to some it's there to lift stuff into the penthouse unit. So until the Grand Piano and solid marble bathtub arrive the crane will stay.

I can't figure out where the photo is take two shots up with the red building in the foreground.

That's looking north from the Entertainment district over parts of Yorkville and going north to Yonge and Eglignton. Taken from Studio condo u/c with a really good lens. That's MARS Phase 2 on the lower right of the image if that helps at all.

Like they said, Yorkville. Hamilton has a lot fewer new towers.

I know Toronto quite well but I still don't see any building I recognize. This is why I took at mad grab at Hamilton because I didn't think it could be Toronto.

I recognised the Heart and Stroke building and taller condos beside it. Then again my dad lives near Yonge and Eglington so I'm fairly familiar with it.
