You're right, I got my wires crossed with a couple of those... I thought 1075 Peachtree had been completed around the same time as 1180... however I still stand by what I said. It's worth nothing that nearly all of that additional space came from projects that had gotten their footing before the recession. Almost nothing has happened in the last four or five years.

would be a misstatement, but I didn't say that--I said a
few years, which isn't very long at all in real estate terms. By 2020, sure, something big will probably have happened... but a spec office tower under construction in Midtown in 2016 or 2017? I'd be very surprised to see that happening (Portman monstrosity aside, although I won't believe it ends up as large as the early reports said until the dirt starts moving).

Did you hear something? They closed the lot and started clearing things out of it months ago but then the activity stopped. I was wondering if it had stalled or just wasn't as far along as it appeared.
